Which TETRAX for which cell phone? The EGO and GEO Line are suitable for any common cell phone. FIX Line provides the option to place the holder on a flat surface.
The Xway Line is most suitable for nearly all common new mobile GPS Navigation devices. The “X” made of soft plastic eases the usage of the device while mounted in the cradle.
This advanced feature is also fully applicable for smart-phones such as Iphone or Blackberry.
Remark: Please note that because of safety reasons cell phones should always be used with hands free headsets or Bluetooth board systems while driving!
What is different using the Xway? The Xway Line was especially designed for the usage of mobile GPS navigation systems and smart-phones.

The magnets and the steel-clip are about 2,0 mm bigger compared to the EGO and GEO Line. This is to tolerate the bigger weight of the devices and the usage of buttons and touch screens when mounted.
It is of course possible to mount a regular cell phone also equipped with the normal size steel-clip in the Xway bracket. In return the bigger steel-clip of the Xway Line will work in the EGO, GEO or FIX Line.
When do I need the FIX Line? The FIX Line provides the option to mount my deceive on smooth and flat surfaces.
Like my MP3-Player on my middle counsel in the car.
Or at home next to my key hanger or in the office at my flat screen frame…! This way I keep my cell phone at certain places easy to find and easy to pick up!

Does the magnetism interfere with my cell phone or GPS system? First of all the magnet has no direct contact to the cell phone or GPS system, as the steel-clip is mounted to the device. 4 magnets with two opposite poles layout create a close magnetic field circuit so The steel-clip further more shields almost completely the magnetic field and the residual magnetism is lower than a common headphone.
To all undertaken tests there was no sign of any interference with the performance of a cell phone, smart-phone or mobile GPS device, caused by the magnetic field of the TETRAX system. The same is true for the usage of MP3-players such as e.g. I-Pods.
Will the TETRAX system interfere with my car heater or air conditioning system? Naturally the exiting air stream from the grid unit where the TETRAX is mounted, will be influenced by the mounted device due to its size and shape. However both the hot and the cold temperature achievable in the car should not influence the special structural adhesive by 3M.
We are advising to reduce the air flow of the particular grid, where the system is mounted.
Even with maximum power of the AC unit it is most unlikely that the electric device will be cooled below its operation temperature, as no temperature below zero degrees Celsius can be achieved.
Remark: Please check the manual of your electronic device for approved temperatures for operation and proper functionality.
Where can I mount or apply a TETRAX System? The EGO and GEO Line as well as the Xway Line are able to be applied to nearly all common air grids in vehicles.
Even in the circular grid of a new MINI Cooper it is possible to successfully attach the TETRAX Systems. Even if we suggest the fix line for the new MINI.
The FIX Line is applied with using a self adhesive sticker on its back, with is protected by a security foil before use. It is possible to apply this to any flat and smooth surface where the sticker will hold.
This is right not only for any vehicle but also in the office or at home…
How often can I mount or apply the TETRAX System?
The clamping system of the EGO, GEO and Xway Line can be installed and de-installed without any effort. As it is a clamp system the number of installation is not limited.
The sticker pad of the FIX Line is designed for single usage. It can be removed without any damage to the surface.
How many steel-clips do I get with my TETRAX package? Each TETRAX package contains beside the two visual steel-clips additional 3-4 steel-clips of different sizes. These can be used as spare clips and also for further electronic devices.
Furthermore we are offering an “Accessory Kit” containing 7 steel-clips of 8,5mm, 10mm, 14mm and 20mm diameter including an extra cleaning and activation tissue for best adhesive performance.
Can I remove the clip? Yes you can with a small blade (also a plastic blade) between the clip and the surface creating a weak but continuous pression to separate the two elements. You can not reuse the same steel clip that was removed.
What is the best solution for my Iphone? The best solution for Iphone is certainly the XWAY because it really support your device and you will be able to use comfortably the touch screen device with one hand (you are not supposed to do it while driving though). You can use the steel clip to stick on the back of your Iphone (included in the package) or even better you can choose one of our XCASE, covers for Iphone with integrated clip.
How to remove my device from TETRAX correctly? Sliding it vertically or horizontally is always the best solution, avoiding strong frontal forces.
